Graphics GARBLING bug depends IMO on OpenGL 3D/KMS/UMS/X System(s), not to browser's, xscreensaver 2D acceleration alone. And ITS OVER(free)MARKETED thus.

Free market of Linux: the Xlibre freeware overmarketing...

Some mesh/volume view garbling is normal (IMO!) in Blender.
Also the black color filling Blender/Bfor Artists panels suddenly.
From long time I remember strange screen behavior, also the apps „viewport” (?) is suspending/crashing (that is, when the killall -STOP & -CONT signal pair BUT on nouveau it even not matters if similar task/thread suspend occured because of hibernation, or not!!! Tested along console switch, which also failing here.) the Xorg client application.

Marketing/for/as free?

–Immaterial cost of bugs & compatibility shifts!!

Then, tearing-free Linux requires firstly, THE DEFINITION.
Secondly, durability immediately after hibernation cycle, and, especially – later, later & later.
3., the console switch durability under both text-mode/framebuffer mode.

Monotonic uptime and graphics card testing under Linux

I extensively use the term of monotonic uptime. Strangely, it wasn't build into Linux commands (EXPLICITLY...), requires some... implicit way Python script as layer over kernel facility.

Yea, Python scripts are somewhat OK. (lib arrow in QGIS beautiful geographic maps client I can simply omit! In reality, QGIS not necessarily needs it).

•This reflections show the nature of UNIX-like Linux.

Screen garbling not so important, in the topic of nowadays browsers. More important for Chrome-likes (except FireDragon, ...it derives rather from FireFox & written in R Linux kernel-friendly language) is A/V COMPLETE desynchronization & CPU spending 100% (apparently) for no good reason.

•I mean not the forced pauses, nor mpv/mplayer-style desync (offtopic? in older hardware), but when the Youtube slider rushes and the video, not. The ****ing Brave browser, and, maybe, JavaScript memory garbage collector, maybe...

„Learn JavaScript”

... hidden SHIT ROBOT TESTS (and/or forced crypto mining JS client-side computations?!!)

Threading problems cannot be solved by adding new CPU core.

As shown above, bug can be complex, even intended (by YouTube). All Youtube, esp. incorrectly used, can be BUG... . It has latency, playlist auto-advance UNRESPONSIVE & impossible to turn off/„smart” manage.

Smart things... see the Kurt Goedel theorem & Carew-Eccless whole theory.
